Trip through the Elbe valley with visit of Bastei and Fortress Königstein (from Easter to end of October)

This very special nature experience starts at 9 a.m. at the campsite with a transfer to the starting point in Dresden. Upstream of the Elbe, along the river, this tour takes you directly into the national park „Saxon Switzerland“ with its bizarre and impressive rock landscape formed of Elbsandstone. The tour stops at the most spectacular point in the Elbsandstone Mountains, the "Bastei". Here you will stay for the next 2 hours, enjoying an amazing scenery, which has already been an incredible inspiration for the famous artists like Caspar David Friedrich and Richard Wagner. After this experience the bus continues its tour,  passing through the scenic city Bad Schandau, heading  to one of the biggest castles of Saxony, the "Königstein" fortress . You will have the possibility to visit the fortress with its casemates, barracks and deep sandstone walls for 2 hours. Enjoy the glorious view over the Ore Mountains and the Bohemian Central Uplands. After the visit of Königstein Fortress, the bus will take you back to Dresden, following the valley of the Elbe. At 5 p.m. guests will catch their transfer back to the campsite. Per person only 20 €.
